Is this sort of online encyclopedia reliable or not?

This is a subject that should rise question marks for every user of this kind of encyclopedia.

Nowadays when the clock in ticking so rapidly and when "time means money" we use the internet every time we need some specific information, as it has a large amount of articles. You can search everything that passes through your mind.

So when we need to check out entries in a specific field of expertise which contents are available for everyone, in 100 languages, we just search wikipedia.org .

From a recent article posted on 12th of April 2007 on wallstreet.ro I found out that the Minister of British Education , Alan Johnson, gave a statement about the utility Wikipedia as an education instrument: " Wikipedia gives everyone an opportunity to access information which , in the past, was available just for those who could afford the cost for a subscription to Enciclopaedia Britannica ".
