Natural Disasters

It wasn`t very hard for me to chose the most interesting subject and to write about. First of all, I think that all of us should be interested in our planets` problems and changes, to learn how to preserve and keep the best environment, because even if it is about natural disasters, I think man is olso responsable about many of our planets` hazards.

Since I was child, I was interested and amazed about natural disasters, especially earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and even if I couldn`t explain how this could happen, I enjoyed watching movies and documentaries about Earths` changes caused by natural disasters. I remember that my parents stories about 1967 earthquake from my country were more fascinating than any other fairytale.

When I realized and examined the damages caused by, I couldn`t find why do natural disasters occur. Looking for information to complete this work I have found that Earth is constantly changing and hazards have major influence in these respect.

I also find that natural disasters can occur anywhere and we should learn how to prepare for worse case scenario and hope and pray we will never get to experience it. But we got to face the fact that Earthquakes, floods, landslides and other hazards are a real threat to our life and well being. Quakes are getting stronger every time we hear about one. We do not want to be stuck in a situation where we wished we had be prepared. No matter where we are in this country, in any other country, we need to take a disaster in very real consideration. Just because we may live ,the middle of an earthquake, extreme snow/ice storm, flooding or any other natural disaster can strike at any time.

Even if some of these natural disasters like volcanic eruptin, limnic euption or impact events rarely occur people need to be aware and take safety precautions, to avoid building settlements under the imminece of nature.
