1. Geographical Position

Geographical Position of the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom is a great,developed,rich leading country.

First of all,the United Kingdom is situated on the British Isles and it is separated from the continent by the English Channel.Historically the territory of the United Kingdom is divided into four parts:England,Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland.

Moreover,the capital is London,which is among the world's leading commercial,financial and cultural centres.Other major cities are Liverpool,Manchester,Belfast and others.

To conclude,I personally believe that Britain's greatest export is the English language ,now spoken in every corner of the world.

2. Historical Event

Major Event in the History of the United States.

Do you know which historical event completely changed the culture and nation of the United States?Of course,it is the Declaration of Independence approved on 4 July,1776.

First of all,the Declaration announced that the thirteen American colonies would become independent sovereign states no longer under British rule.

Moreover, with the Declaration,these states formed a new nation, the United States of America.

To conclude,I strongly believe that no American document has had a greater global impact than the Declaration of Independence.This was the birth certificate of the American nation.

3. National Symbol

The Symbol of the United States of America.

How many things do you know about the American symbol,the Statue of Liberty?

First of all,the world-famous Statue of Liberty standing in New York Harbour was built in France.It was a gift to the people of the United States from the people of France in 1885.

Moreover,the Statue of Liberty represents the spirit of friendship between the two countries.It functioned as a lighthouse nowadays the interior of the statue has been open to the visitors.

To conclude,I strongly believe that this iconic place is worth visiting due to its importance and history!

4. Royalty

The United Kingdom's New Monarch!

Do you know who has the title of the King in the United Kingdom?Of course,it is King Charles III,the oldest person to assume this title.

First of all,King Charles III,the 62nd British monarch,ascended to the throne on September 8,2022 following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. Charles was the first born child of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philiph.

Besides ,Charles had the nickname of ,,action men,, because he has played surfing ,skiing and other sports.

To conclude,I strongly believe that Charles is worth admiration because not everyone could wait 70 years to become the new monarch.

5.American President

George Washington-the Person of Honour!

If I had the chance to write about an outstanding personality from the English-speaking world,I would choose George Washington,the great American President.

First of all,George Washington is known throughout American history as ,,The Father of His Country,,.He was elected the first President of the United States and served for two terms.

Moreover,he is the only president to have a state,streets,school and parks named after him.

To conclude,I strongly believe that Geoge Washington is a great example of democratic president for our country.In time of his government people have got independence ,freedom and equality.
