Princess Diana of Wales was a mark of history that can never be erased or forgotten. I started this paper because I admire her a lot. She was very elegant, in fact, she is the only celebrity I have ever seen which had this natural and elegant manner. She was born to be a "piece of art" and she was a perfect embodiment of the modern princess. I also appreciated her elegant manners towards people. Lady D was polite to everybody near her, including the media, the citizen waiting to greet her and the under-privileged she was visiting. She made everybody feel comfortable, nobody was too humble or sick for her to touch, to try to comfort.
In the first part of paper, I presented her childhood and her adolescence. I started with her birth in the Spencer family, on the Sandringham estate, Norfolk, England. Then I showed her attending a finishing school in Switzerland at Chateauxd'Oex, after which she worked as a kindergarten teacher at the exclusive Young England School in Pimlico.
In the second part, I have focused on her wedding and marriage with Prince Charles, son of Queen Elizabeth II and the heir to the British throne. The couple had two sons: William Arthur Philip Louis and Prince Henry Charles Albert David.
Later was announced her separation from Prince Charles, followed by their divorce.
In the next part, I presented Diana's charity work. She supported many charities related to homeless and deprived children, drug abuse, breast cancer, and victims of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
Last but not least, towards the end of my paper, I present her tragic death. Princess Diana died in a car accident with her fiance, Dodi Al Fayed.
The conclusions emphasize the fact that Princess Diana of Wales was one of the most enduring personalities of the twentieth century and one of the most enigmatic. Called " the people's princess", she electrified the world with her beauty and humanitarian missions, managing, at the same time, to modernize the British Royal Family, forcing them to become more human, more normal.
To conclude, she was both a media icon, permanently revealed to the public by the press, as well as a good role model.
