Prezentarea turistică a orașului Chișinău

This itinerary is for a group of 10 tourists that are between 40 and 50 years old. They are Moldovan Citizens It is a 1 day tour in Chisinau. The tour starts at 24.02.2012 ;Schedule:

8:00 – 8:15 Meeting tourists at the “Eternitate” Memorial;

8:30 – 10:30 Visiting the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History;

10:45 – 11:30 Visiting the National Art Museum of Moldova;

11:45 – 12:50 Visiting the National Museum of History and Archeology of Moldova;

13:00 – 14:00 Tacking lunch at the “Panipit” Museum Café;

14:20 – 14:50 Visiting the Chisinau Cathedral “ Nasterea Domnului;

15:00 – 16:00 Tacking a walk in Central Park;

16:15 – 16:45 Going to “Vernisaj” Market;

17:00 – 17:45 Visiting the Historical Museum of the Capital;

18:00 – 19:00 Dinner at “La Placinte” .

It is impossible to talk about Moldova without mentioning Chisinau, the capital of the country and one of the largest cities in Moldova.Chisinau is located in the center of the country, on the Bic river. It is considered the economic and cultural center of Moldova and one of the most pleasant places where you can spend your vacation.Chisinau is a cultural city, has many theaters, concert halls, museums and other places for those who love art.

"Eternity" Memorial Complex in Soviet times was called the “Victory Memorial”. The Memorial composition is crowned by five rifles made of stone with a height of 25 meters, arranged in a pyramid. Throughout the North-West part of the Memorial are located six engravings, sculptures and composition, which symbolizes the separate stages of the Second World War, beginning with the first day of war until the day of victory. On the basis of carved walls, along the alley, are placed 155 marble plates with the names of the heroes fallen in war.

The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History is the oldest museum in Moldova. It is an important scientific and cultural center of Bessarabia which is also known abroad. The museum is divided into 2 logical parts. The first one is dedicated to flora and fauna on the territory of Moldova. The other part of the museum is dedicated to people living on this territory, their customs and traditions. The museum also has its own botanical garden which was based in 1906. It was the first botanical garden in Bessarabia and it exists till nowadays.
