1. IMMIGRATION & CUSTOMS (I will give you some details about my earlier trip to Germany, with dialogues between me and a German Immigration Agent).

-You have a thirty day travel visa, what you intend to do during this period?

-I’m in Germany to participate along with my nine colleagues to a technical training that will take place in Neuse (Cologne Region).

-What are your plans for the intermission periods of training sir?

-I’ve borrowed a tourist map of Cologne from one of my colleagues and I’ve seen on it a lot of historical monuments from The Meddle Eve age so that I intend to visit few.

-Good choice sir, in Köln you can see one of most popular historical monument in the Europe, The Catholic Cathedral.

-Yes ,The Dome from Köln is second in Europe after Milan Dome on measure scale and its history make’s him such interesting for tourists.

-Yes it is one of most visited objectives from Germany.

-I hope that the weather conditions will be good, so that I can visit more objectives from that area.

-The meteorologists announced nice weather during the next twenty days so I wish you luck!

2.CHANGING MONEY.(I will imagine two dialogues from the same trip).

(Me to a custom operator)-Good day sir, you can tell me please where can I find an Exchange Office?

(His response) -Of course, you have to make twenty steps on this corridor and after that corner you will see on your right side the exchange office of a bank.

(Me) -Thank you sir!

(Me to the teller) -Good afternoon, would you be so kind to change me some LEI in DM?

(Teller to me) -Good afternoon, of course I would! How much LEI do you have to change?

-Four Townsend and five hundred LEI. How much DM can I get for them?

-They worth exactly one towsend and five hundred DM.

-It’s all right, please make the change!

-O K those are your DM have a nice day!

-One more question please, do you know were can I get these services in Köln?

-Of course , in such a big city like Köln is , you will find a lot of ”Automatic Teller Machines”, only in the Historical Centre of town you will see around twenty ATM.

3.PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.(I just stepped down from the bus in Köln station having baggage’s in both hand and I can’t decide witch transportation vehicle to take. Across the street I’ve seen a transportation agent, I will ask him).

(Me) -Good evening sir, how can I get faster to The Dormotel were I have a reservation?

(The transp. agent) -You have three possibilities, a cab, a bus or the train.

-Does the bus or train have station near my hotel?

-Only the bus, but you have to wait twenty minutes on that station after the corner for bus to come.

-Thank you, it seams to me that I have only one choice if I don’t want to miss the dinner, the cab.

-I will call one for you if you want to?

-Would you be so kind please?

-Here’s your cab sir. The driver told me that you will arrive to your hotel in maximum ten minutes and the ride will cost somewhere around seven DM.

-Thank you sir, I hope isn’t a big inconvenience for you.

-Not at all, have a nice evening!

(Taxi driver) -We go straight to your hotel sir or do you want a short tour of The Centre of Town?

(Me) -No thanks, to the hotel please, I’ll leave the tour for tomorrow now I’m expected to a Welcome Meeting on the hotel.

4.CHEKING INTO A HOTEL.(Here I am standing in front of The Reception at The Dormotel).

(Me to the receptionist) - Good evening, my name is M.B. and i want to check in your hotel.

(The receptionist) - Good evening sir, do you have a reservation in our hotel?

-Yes I’ve a phone call made reservation at your hotel. It was made two days ago on the name M.B.

-Can you give me your passport please?

-Here it is.

-How long do you intend to stay in our hotel sir?

-I want to check in for three entire weeks.

-Then you have to pay sixty DM per day, which means one towsend two hundred and sixties DM for all twenty-one days. Do you want to pay with cash or visa card?

-I will pay with cash.

-Thank you, sir keep the receipt for your money and here is your key. You have the room number 313.

-How can I reach to my room please?
