1. The Product
Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink sold in stores, restaurants, and vending machines internationally. The Coca-Cola Company claims that the beverage is sold in more than 200 countries.
The Coca-Cola formula was discovered in 1886 by a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia. The name was suggested by his bookkeeper, Frank. Frank is also the guy who scripted the Coca-Cola logo, the one used from the beggining until present day.
Until 1905, the soft drink, marketed as tonic, contained extracts of cocaine as well of kola nut, a caffeine rich fruit related to cocoa.
In present days it’s the most bought beverage in the world, with about 70 million cans sold per day.
The beverage was sold from soda fountains, and it wasn’t bottled until the a1900’s.
Coca-Cola introduced a variety of other drinks under the Coca-Cola brand:
-Diet Coke,
-Cherry Coke,
-Coca-Cola Light,
-Coca-Cola Zero,
-Coca-Cola Vanilla
-and the special editions with lemon ( Diet Coke with Lime )
-coffee ( Coca Cola BlāK ).
